Welcome to Air Scouts Canberra

Scouting is mainly about having FUN! Air Scouts Canberra adds the dimension of air and space. In Air Scouts, the Scouting program focusses on these themes as well as traditional Scout skills and actvities. So why not bring your child along to see what we do and join in with the fun we welcome everyone. 

Air Scouts having Fun!

Ages: Each age section meets on a different day of the week:

  • Joeys are admitted as 6yo and can stay up to their 8th b'day. Ours meet 6:30-8:00pm on Mondays.
  • Cubs are admitted as 71/2 yo and can stay up to their 11th b'day. Ours meet 6:30-8:00pm on Mondays.
  • Scouts are admitted as 101/2 yo and can stay up to their 15th b'day. Ours meet 6:00-8:00pm on Thursdays.
  • Venturers are admitted as 141/2 yo and can stay up to their 18th b'day. Their program varies depending on activities.

Location: (map) Our hall is at Latrobe Park in Deakin, at the top end of Melbourne Ave, opposite Girls' Grammar School. Entry is off Gawler Cres. An Air Activities Centre is established at Canberra Airport, in conjunction with Canberra Aero Club, and contacts with other local aviation organisations provide ongoing opportunities for air and space related activities. more...
