Seth Takes first steps onto bridge.

Monday saw the Air Scout Canberra Cub section build a rope bridge utilising some of the knotts they have been learning over the last few terms. Building two A frames using square lashings and then using these to support their rope bridge.

Stephanie Making sure knott is tight it needs to support us all.

Each cub walked across the bridge it was scary for some but they all did it. Sadly we ran out of time for parents and leaders to have a go.

The cubs are now exctited with their new skills and are planning to build many devices with square lashings.
