Caving with the ACT Rock Team
16 May 2015

Dave and Phil from the ACT Rock team took Cubs, Leaders and parents into the Wee Jasper caves for an underground adventure this weekend! They crawled into the 'sardine tin' room, expored cave formations, played hide and seek in the dark, and learned some caving skills and techniques to use when they move up to the Scouts Section. After the caving we continued with our Cub camp, staying at the Shearers Quarters at Wee Jasper Station.  Exploring the scenic surroundings on foot and creating an emergency shelter for our Bushcraft L1 badge kept us busy the rest of the weekend.  Cub camps are just the best fun ever!
